FCC coverage maps of Maine TV signals are here

Here are maps created by the Federal Communications Commission that indicate the post-transition digital-signal coverage areas of the various TV stations in Maine.  Note that these maps are not particularly detailed and do not appear to take terrain into account.  These are theoretical computer models that may not match actual conditions on the ground.  The "A" followed by a number is the location of the station's analog transmitter, while the "D" followed by a number is the location of that station's digital transmitter.  The biggest shift to be seen is in the Bangor map for MPBN's channel 9, whose analog transmitter was east of Bangor but whose digital transmitter is to the west, in Dixmont.  For more detailed information on reception at your particular location, we still recommend running a street-level signal analysis at www.tvfool.com.
