Questions in Digital-to-analog converter boxes
- Is it still possible to get a converterbox?
(276 views) - My analog tv has a knob like the old radios. We simply turn (slide) the knob around --- it doesn't click, click as the channels change or engage. There's a red line indicator for each channel. DTV instructions say to turn the tv to channel 3 to scan. Since I fine tune for the six channels I get and all come in beautifully, I really can't tell for sure if I'm exactly on Channel 3 so I am assuming that my tv won't be able to be scanned or set up for dtv. Is that correct?

(560 views) - I live in Clinton and i used to get channel 5,12,23. I hooked up the conveter box and now i only get channel 12. will i be able to recieve any other channels like 5 and 23?

Too bad local channels will be losing customers and ad revenue. This is another failed Washington initiative. What do the local channels intend to do. or those of us who have Direct TV, we will be abandoning you rather than pay the extra $10 a month for what we should receive for free.
